Corporate Social Responsibility

We take pride in our commitment to making a positive impact on our local community.

At T W White & Sons, we believe that success is not measured solely by our business achievements, but also by the positive influence we have on the people and communities in which we operate.

We recognise the importance of giving back and supporting local charities and organisations that enrich the lives of those around us.

Leatherhead FC

Our partnership with Leatherhead Football Club

At T W White and Sons, our longstanding tradition of community involvement and support takes yet another strive forward. We are elated to announce our latest collaboration as a proud sponsor of Leatherhead Football Club for the 2023/2034 season.

Group Marketing Manager Jen Westwood expressed our enthusiasm: "We are thrilled to support The Tanners this upcoming season. As a local, family-run business, we have supported various community initiatives. We are thrilled that this new partnership can expand to the local football community."

David Pope, Chairman of Leatherhead Football Club, shares our excitement, adding, "The club is proud to have the opportunity to work in partnership with such a well-respected and longstanding local company."

We look forward to driving forward an impactful community initiative.

Shooting Star Children's Hospices

We proudly extend our continuous support to Shooting Star Children's Hospices

Since 2019, we have proudly supported the Shooting Star Children's Hospices by loaning a Suzuki Vitara.

Shooting Star Children's Hospices provide incredible specialist care for babies, children and young people across Surrey and West London with life-limiting conditions and their families.

The Suzuki Vitara is pivotal in facilitating essential transport for staff, parents and patients. Safety remains paramount, especially when transporting the charity's patients, and the Suzuki Vitara boasts a 5-star Euro NCAP rating thanks to its state-of-the-art safety features.

Karen Sugarman, MBE, Executive Vice President at Shooting Star Children's Hospices, emphasised the importance of such a contribution. She notes, "The Vitara provides a lifeline to our work".

At T W White and Sons, we are humbled to play our small part in working with such an incredible charity. To learn more about the Hospices' fantastic work, please visit www.shootingstar.org.uk

Skipping Sikh and Hula Hoop Kaur

Providing the fitness personalities with use of an Mazda MX-30 BEV to enable them to continue inspiring the next generation of children

We are thrilled to be able to support the Skipping Sikh (Rajinder Singh MBE) and Hula Hoop Kaur (Pritpal Kaur)  as they continue their volunteer work inspiring health and fitness in schools and youth clubs across London.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, the duo inspired thousands with online exercise videos and raised over £14,000 for NHS charities. After the expansion of the London ULEZ zone, their old Mazda 323 was unable to be used to transport the couple and their fitness equipment.

We hope that through the loan of the all-electric Mazda MX-30, they will be able to continue and expand on their vital work, inspiring the next generation to get up and get moving!

Surrey Hills Community Radio

Supporting our local community radio station through show sponsorship

Surrey Hills Community Radio is a Leatherhead-based community radio station serving the Surrey Hills. Launched in June 2014, the station is entirely run by volunteers passionate about various musical styles. It gives local people of all ages and backgrounds a chance to try something new, something that could allow them to shine and build their confidence. We have proudly supported their "Take it Easy" Wednesday Evening show since 2019.
