Proper old school dealership, well worth a visit

I was considering buying an automatic Suzuki Swift and contacted Geoff at T W White & Sons to arrange a test drive. He and Dan couldn't have been more helpful and offered a great deal, both on the Swift and on part-exchange. Unfortunately, the car wasn't quite right for my requirements but I would be very happy to recommend this dealership.

A quick thank you to Daniel in sales in relation to the new Vitara I purchased last week . He made the whole thing very easy.....no pressure at all . Would definitely recommend the company and intend to use it for servicing in the future .

Although this car showroom is not the largest that is normally expected, the staff are very helpfully and exceeded expectations. I explained the design faults that I did not like with my existing Vitara and Matthew said he had the answers with a nearly new S Cross. A week later he fitted a dash cam free of charge.

My daughter bought her first car from Dan at this garage and 1 week later somebody drove into her when it was parked and just drove off, leaving her car with a alot of damage. She was gutted, I rang Dan and he told me how to pull the dent out, he then said to take it in and he got someone to buff out the surface damage as much as he could. They done an amazing job and all free of charge!! She was so happy 😊 That's what I call first class after sales customer service, we can't thank Dan and his staff enough and would definitely recommend them.

Whilst searching for a used Suzuki Vitara for my daughter and after a far from acceptable experience at my local Suzuki dealer (Richmond Suzuki, Portsmouth), I emailed TW White & Sons of Effingham on the off-chance, enquiring if they had anything suitable. Within 15 minutes I had a phone call from Geoff Tyrrell, one of their Client Advisors to say that they did in fact have one in stock. My wife and I arranged a test drive for late the next morning so as to give them a chance to have it ready and for us to get up to Effingham. Upon arrival the car was waiting outside and ready to go as promised. Geoff introduced himself and gave us the keys to have a good look around it whilst he finished dealing with another customer. The car was presented in an immaculate condition and after a successful test drive we agreed on a sale. Geoffs method of dealing with customers was brilliant - personal but not too familiar and throughout the whole experience we felt at ease and never under any pressure to buy. Each step of the process was explained clearly and completed without fuss. He even arranged free delivery for us as the car wasn't ready to go there and then. He also said that two new front tyres would be fitted as the current ones were getting near the legal limit. It was probably one of the best car buying experiences we've ever had, TW Whites ethos is brilliant. The staff we spoke to were friendly and there was a nice atmosphere as soon as you entered the showroom - you weren't pounced upon by an over zealous salesperson eager to get their commision. It turns out that Whites operate a 'no commission' policy as the staff are salaried. We would be more than happy to return to TW White & Sons despite having to travel from the south coast. They were excellent.

We had a slight dent drivers side in the side of the roof,was fixed no problem.the staff brilliant.
