A new era begins at Mazda with the arrival of the striking and seductive All-new Mazda 3 Hatchback
The engine line-up for this striking car is strong and dignified, with a dynamic and enjoyable performance. The hatchback engines range offers three engine options - 2.0 SKYACTIV-G and 2.0 SKYACTIV-X petrol engines, and 1.8 SKYACTIV-D diesel. Both the SKYACTIV-G and SKYACTIV-D engines are available in manual and automatic. The trim choices for this eye-catching car are the SE-L, SE-L Lux, Sport Lux and GT Sport and GT Sport Tech. The Mazda 3 will also be the first in the model range to include a mild-hybrid engine in all of the petrol derivatives. This system improves the fuel economy and reduces CO2 emissions by harvesting and storing energy lost during deceleration and redeploying it to assist the engine.
In terms of design, the All-new Mazda 3 represents the evolution of Mazda's award-winning KODO - Soul of Motion design philosophy. Each element has been artfully and precisely designed, with the aim of creating a car that captures the energy of movement, even when stationary. This can been seen in the way the striking curves of the Mazda 3 capture and manipulate light.
Beyond the eye-catching exterior, every element of the interior has been designed around the driver, to be within easy reach and to help you stay focused on the road ahead. The new 8.8-inch centre display is positioned further back in the dashboard, angled towards the driver, to reduce the time you need to take your eyes off the road. Everything can be controlled through the multimedia commander in the centre console. The All-new Mazda 3 also includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, so you can stay connected, as well as an improved Mazda Connect infotainment system and satellite navigation.
The Mazda 3 also comes with a wide range of safely and driver support technology. The entry level SE-L model includes Driver Attention Alert, Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Front Smart City Brake Support, Hill Hold Assist, rear parking sensors and Colour Active Driving Display as standard. And that the top of the range, the GT Sport Tech offers all of this, as well as Front Cross Traffic Alert, Rear Smart City Brake Support, door mirror tilt down function when reversing, 360-degree View Monitor, front parking sensors, frameless auto-dimming rear-view mirror and heated steering wheel.
The All-new Mazda 3 Hatchback is on sale from 18th May 2019 with the 2.0 SKYACTIV-G and 1.8 SKYACTIV-D engines, while the Saloon and SKYACTIV-X versions will be available later in 2019.
