The Mazda 3 MPS is a spine tingling drive for those who want stunning levels of performance with the added bonus of real-world practicality.
Calling on Mazda’s motorsport history, the 3 MPS is a sensational steer. Dispatching the dash from 0-62mph in just 6.1 seconds, the 2.3-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine in the Mazda 3 MPS produces 256hp and 280lb ft of torque. This provides superb performance and pull that's combined with easy-driving flexibility.
It's wrapped in a subtly aggressive body that shows the MPS is a serious vehicle for serious drivers. Flared wheelarches, deeper bumpers front and rear and a bonnet power bulge set the MPS apart from the Mazda 3 its based upon. The headturning 18-inch alloy wheels and enlarged dual-tip sports exhaust complete the transformation.
Despite its sporting credentials and superb performance though, the MPS is still an efficient car, producing 224g/km of CO2 and averaging over 29mpg on the official combined cycle test.
Inside, heated sports-style half-leather bucket front seats will keep you cocooned in the cockpit allowing you to concentrate on the joy of driving the Mazda3 MPS.
