A new option on the Mazda5 includes electric sliding doors which are part of the luxury pack option also featuring xenon headlights and washers and leather trim. The passenger rear side door can be opened from outside the car using the remote key fob. From inside the car, you can operate the electric doors at the touch of a button. Rear seat passengers can simply pull the handle gently from the interior to activate the electric door mechanism. And for easier entry and exit for third- row passengers, the second-row seats slide forward independently with minimum effort. Electric sliding doors are one of those features - like power steering and central locking - that you soon wonder how you did without
