Hyundai i10 Review
The Hyundai i10 is a sharply styled supermini for those who want excellent reliability, headturning looks and superb space and practicality.
The nippy little i10 is perfect for urban motoring and comes equipped for the city: the 68hp 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine emits a road-tax busting 99g/km of CO2, sipping a meagre one-gallon of petrol every 69 miles. An 85hp 1.2-litre petrol engine is also available with the choice of a convenient four-speed automatic alongside the five-speed manual gearbox.
With the i10’s 60/40 split folding rear seats increasing boot space from 225 to 910 litres, there’s no need to compromise on practicality. The clever i10 also comes with the longest wheelbase in its class. This means that despite a compact exterior length, the interior space for a full three-seat layout (complete with ISOFIX anchor points) in the rear, so whether its people or parcels you’re transporting, the i10 will take it all in its stride.
All trim levels come with air conditioning and a fully integrated audio system with MP3 compatibility for tunes on the go, too.
The Hyundai i10 is safe and secure and every version comes with the reassurance of ABS with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) plus front and side airbags, while ESP stability control is an option on all trim levels. Hyundai also equips the i10 with central locking and a Thatcham approved immobiliser as standard to ensure you’re belongings are kept protected wherever you are.
Hyundai’s class-leading five year unlimited mileage warranty gives you peace of mind that no matter how many miles you enjoy driving your i10, you’re still fully covered.
Sharp, fresh and stylish, the Hyundai i10 is a versatile and frugal supermini that’s definitely a smart buy. Check out the full range at T W White & Sons today.
