General Information
Where can I find your opening hours?
You can find details of our opening hours at the top of our website or on the contact us pages. If you would like to arrange a viewing of a car outside of these hours we can usually accommodate as long as you book an appointment.
Public and Bank Holidays may differ so please check with your local branch.
Buying a Car
Where can I find out what branch a used car is at?
As our used stock is shared between all sites within our group and we often swap where it is located for test drives and viewings. As these changes can happen frequently we don't publish the information about where the stock is to avoid confusion and stop customers going to the wrong branch.
If there is a particular car you would like to see please email or ring your local branch and we will get the car brought over for you to view at a time convenient to you.
Where and when can I test drive a car?
You are more than welcome to test drive any car we have in stock. Please contact your local branch by visiting the contact us page and when you come down remember to bring your driving license (both parts if photo ID).
We can offer you two options for test drive at a time convenient to you:
- If you would like to come down to us we can help point you in the right direction making sure you experience the type of roads you will commonly be driving on.
- If you would us to bring the car to you instead we will be more than happy to as long as you don't live to far away
Can you help with my insurance?
We have dealt with a wide variety of insurers over the years and we would be happy to help with organising your insurance. We can either supply you with a list of companies we recommend or if you would like we can pass your details to them to get the ball rolling and save you having to do the full application by yourself.
Is your 3 year warranty on used cars absolutely free?

Vehicle Handover / Collecting your car
How long will it take to prepare my car?

Excluding car purchases on finance agreements our preferred method of payment is either debit card, or alternatively by bankers draft or building society cheque (payable to T W White & Sons Ltd). For legal reasons we can only accept £10,000 in cash and only up to £1000 on credit card (after this a 2.5% charge applies).

Owning a Car
My car is on a finance agreement, can I cancel this early?
Most finance agreements can be ended early if you would like to upgrade your car to a new one or immediately settle the remaining balance. Some finance companies may charge a small fee to do this which will be detailed in your terms and conditions and usually all outstanding finance will need to be settled. If you would like us to help organise this for you please ask one of our sales team.

Yes you can transfer the warranty to a new owner. There is an admin fee charged by the warranty company which is £25 regardless of the length of term remaining.
